Health Department Facilitates Insurance for the Uninsured

The Utah Department of Health offers assistance for children without insurance. Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) is a state health insurance plan for children. Many working Utah families who don't have other health insurance qualify for CHIP.


Utah's Premium Partnership for Health Insurance (UPP) helps make health insurance more affordable for working individuals and families who do not currently have health insurance.


The Utah Medicaid program helps to pay medical bills for people who have low income or cannot afford healthcare.

Association for Utah Community Health

The Association for Utah Community Health (AUCH) is an association of Utah's community clinics that exist to increase access to healthcare for medically underserved populations in Utah.

2-1-1 Community Information Line

The 2-1-1 community line provides information about Utah medical providers and other social services for low-income families.

Intermountain Community & School Clinics

Community Benefit Department operates five Salt Lake area clinics in underserved neighborhoods, to help meet the needs of uninsured. These clinics are staffed by family nurse practitioners, RNs, and volunteer physicians. Bilingual staff is available at each clinic.
